ATTYGALLE – Dr. (Mrs.) DEEPTHI – Born 17th April 1940; passed away peacefully on 1st June 2026. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Lakshman Attygalle, devoted mother of Priyan, Ayoma and Amila, loving mother-in-law of Hiranthi, Kevin and Murtaza, loving grandmother of the late Praveen and of Daanyal, Sohail and Maya. Respects may be paid at her residence, No. 108, Horton Place, Colombo 07, from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026. A service in her memory will be held at her residence at 10.00 a.m. on Thursday, 4th June 2026. The cortège will thereafter leave at 10.30 a.m., proceeding to the General Cemetery, Borella (Kanatte), where she will be laid to rest at 11.00 a.m. in the grounds adjoining the chapel. She will be remembered with deep respect and abiding affection by her family, her colleagues, and the many whose lives and careers she touched.
