Eldest son of the late Mr. Bentis Abraham Galappaththy (Kalu Mahaththaya) and Mrs. Podi Nona Wijetunga of Mawella. Former Teacher at Royal College, Colombo and Lecturer at Maradana Technical College. Remains lie at Jayarathne Funeral Parlour, Borella. Funeral: Borella Kanatte Cemetery, 12 August 2026 at 4.30 p.m.
