REV. FR. CAMILLUS NIHAL FERNANDO, of the Archdiocese of Colombo, expired on Sunday, 19th April 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. K. P. Ramiyal Fernando and the late Mrs Mary Margerette Suaris. The mortal remains of Rev. Fr. Camillus Fernando will be received at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Archbishop’s House on Monday, 20th April at 10.00 a.m. On Tuesday, 21st April at 8.00 a.m., the remains will be transferred to Holy Cross College, Kalutara, and subsequently taken to St. Mary’s Church, Kuda Payagala at 1.00 p.m. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 22nd April at 3.00 p.m., followed by interment at the Church Cemetery, Kuda Payagala.
